Zesty Italian Ice Sunset
Sit back, relax and take in twilight with this limoncello-like aperitif featuring the perfectly balanced sour-and-sweet Waterloo Lemon Italian Ice.

Ingredients

6oz Waterloo Lemon Italian Ice Sparkling Water
1 tbsp Citrus Syrup (see recipe below)
1oz Tangerine Juice
Lemon Twist

 

*Citrus Syrup
1 cup packed citrus peels (lemon, orange, tangerine)
½ cup sugar

Directions

In a glass, add citrus syrup and tangerine juice. Fill with ice and top with Waterloo Lemon Italian Ice. Stir and enjoy.

 

For Citrus Syrup:
Combine citrus peels and sugar in a bowl. Muddle to release oils. Let sit overnight (up to 24 hours). Strain, pressing peels to extract all oils. Store in a sealed jar in the fridge.
