Green Tea & Hibiscus Blackberry Smash
Ingredients
4 oz Boiling Water
½ tsp Hibiscus Flower Powder
1 Green Tea Bag
8 Fresh Raspberries
15 Fresh Blueberries
4 Fresh Sage Leaves
1 cup Ice Cubes
4 oz Waterloo Blackberry Lemonade Sparkling Water
3 Blackberries
Directions
1. Whisk boiled water and hibiscus flower powder in a mug, then add the green tea bag. Let steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bag and let the water cool completely, about 5 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, gently muddle the raspberries, blueberries, and two torn sage in a cocktail shaker until slightly mashed. Stir in the brewed green tea and ice. Shake to chill, about 30 seconds.
3. Pour into a 12-ounce wine glass and top with Sparkling Water. Garnish with three blackberries and two sage leaves intertwined on a skewer.
Mixologist Tips
For a sweeter take, add 2 tsp of sweetener to the fruit before muddling.
For a cocktail, add 1 ½ oz vodka or whiskey along with the brewed green tea.
